Sleeping is a crucial part of our lives and it has a very important role in our overall health. Regular sleeping patterns help us feel energetic and happy during the day. However, lack of sleep can cause depression, anxiety and it can have negative impact on our overall health. This can also happen with oversleeping.

Men and women have different needs when it comes to sleeping. The recommended amount is 8 hours, but some researchers have discovered that it is not enough for women. Women need about 2 hours more sleep than men and if they sleep enough during the night these are the benefits they will feel:

If you spend the entire night looking at memes or texting, you can’t expect to be attentive during the day. Sleeping is essential for the brain to get some rest and to work properly as well as your eyes. You can improve your attention by sleeping properly.

5.Healthy body

Sleeping is extremely important for our body and it is also very beneficial if you are trying to lose weight. According to a study from the University of Chicago, people lose weight faster when they get proper rest. If we are sleep deprived our body will release hunger hormones which will make us eat more, thus gain weight.

6.Decreased stress

Stress and lack of sleep also have a negative effect on our cardiovascular health. You can reduce your stress levels thus improve your overall health by sleeping longer. Lack of sleep will also cause many other health issues including issues with the nervous system. Sleep deficiency only increases the stress levels, and if you are unable to sleep at night, consult your doctor for advice.
